A gentle newborn portrait by Tina Hevingham

Expecting? Here's how booking with Tina works.

A calm, simple plan — designed to take one decision off your list.

  1. Step one

    Get in touch

From about 28 weeks pregnant, drop me a line. Earlier if you want the gentlest part of the studio diary — newborn sessions book a few months in advance.

  2. Step two

    We chat, you reserve

A quick call to talk through what you'd like. A small deposit holds your tentative date, which we firm up once your baby arrives.

  3. Step three

    Studio at 1–2 weeks

When your baby is six to fourteen days old, we shoot in the heated studio in Delph. Sleepy, curly, quietly themselves.

The studio

Heated to 26°C so newborns can sleep deeply. Set up to be quiet, accessible, and unhurried — there's no clock ticking, no rush. Bring your partner, an older sibling, a feed, a coffee. Parking is a 2-minute walk from Valley Mill. Ten minutes from the M62.
